Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
Velko is a media player for Apple TV. You bring your own IPTV service (an Xtream Codes account or an M3U playlist); Velko provides the app that plays it. Your privacy matters, and Velko is built to collect as little as possible.
What Velko stores
- Provider details you enter — your Xtream server, username, and password, or the playlist URLs you add. These are stored on your device in the system Keychain.
- App settings & profiles — your saved sources and preferences. If you use iCloud, these settings may sync across your own Apple devices via Apple's private iCloud key‑value storage, tied to your Apple ID.
What Velko does NOT do
- No accounts, sign‑ups, or Velko servers — there is no Velko backend that receives your data.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising, or third‑party SDKs.
- We never sell, share, or transmit your credentials anywhere except the provider you configure.
Network connections
Velko connects only to: (1) the IPTV provider or playlist/EPG URLs you choose to add, and (2) for the optional "Community TV" demo, the publicly available iptv‑org playlist. Your credentials are sent only to your own provider, to log in and stream.
Content
All channels, movies, and series come from the provider you connect. Velko does not host, control, or take responsibility for that content.
Children
Velko is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any personal information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
