Search finds the channel you typed

The closest match comes first. Type a channel's name and it now lands at the top, even when your provider writes it a little differently — so short names stop getting lost behind a long list of loose matches.
An uncluttered picture on iPhone and iPad. The close button now fades away with the rest of the controls while you watch, and comes straight back with a tap.

Bug fixes and clearer purchase messages

Fixes and clarifications. Restore Purchases and the Pro screens now tell you exactly what happened, instead of leaving you guessing.

Fix a channel's shape without leaving it

Aspect ratio, right on the player. Some channels broadcast in the wrong shape. Choose Fit, Fill, 16:9, or 4:3 while you watch — tap the aspect button on iPhone and iPad, or long-press the touchpad on Apple TV — and Velko remembers your choice for that channel.

Fits your whole TV, not just the picture

Screen fit for your whole TV. The shape setting now applies to all of Velko — guide, menus, and video — not just the player. If your TV stretches the picture or cuts off the edges, Settings → Screen puts everything right.

You're in control of the picture

Aspect ratio control. New in Settings → Playback: keep the picture as broadcast, fill the screen to remove black bars, or force 16:9 / 4:3. Set per device — your TV and your iPhone can each have their own.
Streaming quality. For channels that offer more than one quality: pick Best available, Automatic, or Data saver — handy on cellular. Also per device.
Live loading progress. Adding a provider or opening a big channel list now shows exactly what's happening — connecting, downloading with a live count, then preparing your channels — so even a huge list never looks stuck.
Clearer first connect. The guide now says "Connecting to your provider…" while your categories load, on Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad.

Your sources, everywhere

Sources sync across your devices. Add an Xtream or M3U provider on one device and it's ready on the others — your saved sources now sync across Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad, alongside the Pro and favorites sync you already have. Remove a source and it's gone everywhere, too.
Private by design. Sources sync through your own iCloud with your credentials stored in encrypted fields — no accounts, no Velko servers.
Sync on your terms. A new iCloud Sync section in Settings: turn syncing off if you'd rather keep devices separate, or tap Sync Now to update right away — with a clear note if iCloud isn't available.
Faster search on iPhone & iPad. The search overhaul from Apple TV 1.4 arrives on iOS — quicker results on big guides, smarter any-order matching, and tabs for Channels, On now, Movies, and Series.

Faster, tidier search

Optimized search. Searching large channel guides and libraries is now much faster and smoother — even broad searches like a single letter stay responsive.
Tabbed results. Results are grouped into tabs — Channels, On now, Movies, Series — so you can jump straight to the kind of thing you're after.
Smarter matching. Search now matches your words in any order, so “gone 60” finds “Gone in 60 Seconds,” with the best matches shown first.
Top 100 per category. Each category shows its 100 best matches to keep things fast — just keep typing to narrow down.

Faster search & favorites from anywhere

Search is rock-solid. Searching big guides is now fast and smooth — no more freezing on large channel lists.
Favorite straight from Search. Found a channel by searching? Add it to Favorites right there — no need to hunt for it in the guide afterward.
Long category names scroll. Rest on a category for a moment and a long name gently scrolls so you can read it in full.
Restore from the preview screen. Already subscribed to Pro? You can now Restore Purchases right from the free-preview screen.
Your Velko version now shows in Settings, plus other minor bug fixes and improvements.

Catch-up & free Community TV

Catch-up — watch recent shows. On channels whose provider offers a catch-up archive, press and hold a channel to browse the last 24 hours of programs and play one from the start. A Velko Pro feature.
Community TV is now free without limits. The free preview timer no longer applies to Community TV — public channels are free forever. Pro unlocks unlimited viewing of your own provider.
New, lower pricing. Velko Pro is now $2.99/month or $24.99/year, and Lifetime is $39.99 — launch pricing.
Sharper look on every TV: better text readability regardless of your TV’s appearance setting, a polished Go Pro page, and a cleaner guide.

New first-run welcome — start watching free Community TV in one step, or sign in to your provider.
Longer free preview: now 15 minutes per channel (up from 5), so you can really try Velko before subscribing.
The guide stays current — the timeline now advances with the clock instead of staying frozen at the time you opened it.
Favorites appears only once you've added one — no more empty Favorites at the top of the guide.
Smoother navigation: press right from the category list to jump straight into channels, and switching categories never gets stuck, even on slow connections.
